About

Leandra Bernstein

I’m a veteran journalist and multi-talented content strategist with 15 years of experience across industries. Born and raised outside of Boston, I currently live in the D.C. metro region.

I always knew I wanted to write and connect with people on big ideas. After studying at Lewis & Clark College and a brief stint in Seattle, I moved back east. Over the course of a decade, I refined my skills working in communication, journalism and mass media, including five years on Capitol Hill, two years covering the UN General Assembly and six election cycles. After leaving the newsroom, I joined an exceptional team to launch and sustain a youth 7v7 football tournament backed by more than three dozen NFL pros. In 2022, I was selected to manage a digital publication for a space and defense technology firm. I learned the technical material quickly and built a library of thought leadership articles that drove brand exposure.

Currently, I’m focused on helping startups amplify their message and execute growth strategies. I also work with established brands on marketing, PR, communications and digital content development.

No matter how busy life gets, I always make time for fitness, strength training, practical philosophy and getting a laugh out of friends and family.
