About

Leandra Bernstein

I’m a veteran journalist and multi-talented content strategist with 15 years of experience across industries. Born and raised outside of Boston, I now call the D.C. metro area home.

I always knew I wanted to write and connect with people on big ideas. After studying at Lewis & Clark College, I moved to Seattle where I started six years of independent study on history, rhetoric and principles of science and math. That path led me to Northern Virginia, where I joined a nonprofit before transitioning to journalism—first as a staff reporter for an international newswire, then as a longform reporter for a national broadcaster.

During my eight years as a journalist, I spent six years on Capitol Hill, covered two UN General Assemblies and six election cycles. After leaving the newsroom, I helped launch a youth 7v7 football tournament backed by more than three dozen NFL pros. In 2022, I was tapped to manage a digital publication for a space and defense technology firm, where I built a library of thought leadership articles to support brand exposure.

Today, I help startups amplify their message and execute growth strategies, while working with established brands on marketing, PR, communications and digital content development.

No matter how busy life gets, I always make time for fitness, practical philosophy and laughing with friends and family.
